Role: Human Resource Assistant

Description:  Supports the Human Resources staff with a wide range of human resources projects and tasks. Works with other departments on various administrative duties. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Update Time-Off calendar
  • Assist with employment, payroll, and benefits enrollment processes for new and existing staff members
  • Assist with scanning payroll and other human resources documents

Role: Digital Printer

Description: Responsible for the coordination of jobs in the Digital Printing process. Releases job to printers, process job tickets, and is responsible for the system reports. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Create host jobs, processes job tickets, sort work by Imaggia printer, and prioritize job tickets for maximum efficiency
  • Releases jobs from the manufacturing system printer 
  • Gathers and loads stock necessary for the completion of jobs

Role: Medical Office Clerk

Description: The Office Clerk assists with various functions such as preparing medical record packets, numbering medical records, and or/archiving medical records charts. Clerks will gain knowledge of medical record retention as well as minor skills of front office assisting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Place numbers on medical records charts in sequential order
  • Insert medical records tab and forms into the charts
  • Removing immunizations records from medical records in preparation of archiving.
  • Sorting and boxing medical records in specific order
  • Pulling and filing medical records and/or index cards

Role: Communications and Administrative Assistant

Description: Updates the company’s website by using WordPress, as needed. This will include updating text, formatting and embedding things as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Expand social media presence through Facebook , Twitter and LinkedIn; expected to create 12 months’ worth of posts and tweets
  • Provide data-entry assistance using the company’s database

Role: Operations and Marketing Assistant

Description:  Work in bank operations and marketing, including account issues, working with customers, attending events, etc.  Knowledge of financial products helpful, banking experience preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the bank
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to effectively deal with customers’ concerns and finding the answers if they are not readily accessible

Description: Support loan and deposit operations by creating/organizing/ maintaining files; performing customer service duties; maintaining customer accounts; update/create detailed records using Excel; prepare customer correspondence; creating electronic files from hard-copy.

Example Role: Outreach Assistant

Description: Provides outreach and administrative support, primarily to the Jobs and Enterprise program, which assists low income adults to find employment, create a career plan, or start a small business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Provide assistance to the career services department and the Jobs and Enterprise Center
  • Increase participation in the Jobs and Enterprise programs
  • This will be completed through several channels, with a focus on increasing the Jobs and Enterprise social media presence and participation in community events and outreach opportunities

Role: Junior Counselor

Description: Work together with staff to develop and implement daily curriculum for the summer program for children and youth in the grades K-8th. Curriculum focused on literacy, math, and recreational activities that prevent summer learning loss.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Facilitate classroom activities under the guidance of senior staff and manage overall classroom behavior
  • Work with staff to check-in program participants and escort children to their designated areas, as needed
  • Aid JCPS Elementary ESL teachers in implementing class curriculum
